Job Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and experienced clinical pharmacist to lead the renal and transplantation team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

The post holder will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical pharmacy services, working closely with senior renal clinicians and managers to improve CKD pathways in the region.

We are looking for a highly skilled and organized individual with a passion for continuous improvement, who can work effectively under pressure and bring value to the wider pharmacy and renal multi-professional team.

Main Duties
  • Develop and deliver high-quality, innovative clinical pharmacy services in renal and transplantation
  • Work with senior renal clinicians and managers to improve CKD pathways in the region
  • Lead the renal and transplantation team in delivering patient-centered care
  • Develop and implement clinical governance skills to improve patient care
  • Contribute to the development of pharmacy services in renal and transplantation
Requirements
  • Registered practicing Independent Prescriber
  • Teaching qualification
  • Capability to work towards a professional doctorate
  • Significant experience at band 8a or equivalent in relevant speciality
  • Significant experience of delivering education and training at post-graduate level
