Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team at DHU Healthcare. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our diverse multi-disciplinary community.

Main Duties

  • Practice autonomously without direct supervision, utilizing advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients.
  • Recognize the need for and initiate advice of relevant specialisms, exhibiting excellent communication skills when dealing with patients and carers.
  • Make clear decisions with confidence and communicate them effectively.

  • Competitive salary: £50,966 - £57,555 (Band 30% evening enhancements, 45% weekend enhancements)

Requirements

  • Registered Adult Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist with the Nursing & Midwifery Council, Health Care Professions Council, or General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Registered as an independent non-medical prescriber
  • A minimum of 2 modules at Level 7, including assessment of clinical examination skills

  • Essential qualifications: Registered Adult Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist, registered as an independent non-medical prescriber, and a minimum of 2 modules at Level 7
  • Desirable qualifications: MSc (Advanced Practice) and mentorship qualification
