Role Overview

DHU Healthcare seeks an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Clinical Assessment Service team. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the highest level of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Practice autonomously without direct supervision, utilizing advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients requiring the clinical service.
  2. Recognize the need for, refer for, and where appropriate interpret relevant diagnostic investigations.
  3. Recognize the need for and initiate where appropriate advice of relevant specialisms.
  4. Exhibit excellent communication skills when dealing with patients and carers, making clear decisions with confidence and communicating them effectively.
Requirements
  • Be a registered Adult Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), a Paramedic registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), or a pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Registered as an independent non-medical prescriber.
  • A minimum of 2 modules at Level 7, with one module including assessment of clinical examination skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Substantial Autonomous practice working and multi-professional team.
  • Can show evidence of autonomous assessment skills in practice.
