We are seeking a hard-working individual to join our team at Belfast TradFest and Summer School of Traditional Music.

Job Description

The Festival Assistant will provide administrative support to the festival team, working closely with the Festival Producer to deliver live music festivals and events.

Responsibilities
  1. Pre-Event Planning: Assist in event planning, including scheduling, staffing, and artist liaison.
  2. On-Site Support: Provide on-site support during festivals, including stage management and artist assistance.
  3. Volunteer Management: Manage the festival's volunteer team.
  4. Marketing and Promotion: Assist with marketing, social media, and website development.
Requirements
  1. A third-level qualification or equivalent.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Ability to work unsocial hours during busy periods.
  4. Knowledge of traditional music and previous experience in festival administration, event management, or production.

Estimated salary: £12,000 - £15,000 per annum based on location and experience.
