Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Special Needs School in Norwich.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with students with special educational needs and be able to provide individualized support to meet their unique needs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Provide one-on-one support to students with personal care and Social Emotional needs.
- Assist students during classroom activities, promoting engagement and understanding.
- Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
About Our School: We cater to students aged 5-19 with complex and significant learning needs, Autism, Challenging Behaviour and Complex Needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a school or care setting in the UK (Mandatory)
- Proficiency in English Language (Mandatory)
- Right to Work in the UK (NO Sponsorship Provided. Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible for this position)
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate: £13/hr - £14/hr
- Full-time (Term Time Only) contract with possibility of permanence
