About the Role

Austin Fraser is seeking a Financial Operations Coordinator to join their team in Central Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the finance team with various tasks, including preparing financial journals, conducting bank reconciliations, and administering expense claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Prepare accurate financial journals reflecting expenditures and manage the financial transaction process.
  • Banking and Reconciliations: Conduct monthly tasks including banking donations, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
  • Expense Claims: Administer credit card and staff expense claims and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Asset Management: Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure accurate records of assets.
  • Project Support: Assist Project Finance Managers with information capture processes and updating detailed procedure notes.
  • Budget and Audit: Support the quarterly budget process and the year-end statutory audit process.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within a finance department.
  • Skillset: Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills and attention to detail, proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
