We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Healthcare Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Children and Young People's Gender Service (South West) at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.

The successful candidate will assist in providing administrative support to a busy department, ensuring that all communication with patients, relatives, and carers is conducted efficiently and effectively. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

As a healthcare administrator, you will be responsible for communicating with various stakeholders, including clinical and non-clinical staff, patients, and carers. You must be able to demonstrate a caring and professional approach towards patients, even in challenging situations. A good understanding of Microsoft Office 365 software and audio typing/dictation software is also necessary.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide administrative support to a busy department, ensuring seamless communication with patients, relatives, and carers
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to trust policies and procedures
  • To assist in coordinating appointments and procedures, ensuring timely completion

A salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum is offered, depending on experience. If you are a highly motivated and detail-focused individual with excellent communication skills, we welcome your application.
