About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to join our team at a leading care home in Altrincham, Greater Manchester. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a service experience that aligns with our company values of compassion, empathy, and transparency.
  • Lead a positive working environment that fosters teamwork, continuous improvement, and high-quality service.
  • Ensure that all residents receive an exceptional experience, with their needs and expectations met and exceeded.
  • Manage the food service operation, working closely with the executive chef to plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality meals in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and maintain a robust activities program that caters to the interests and needs of our residents, promoting health and wellness.
  • Maintain a best-in-class first impression experience for all guests.
  • Ensure the housekeeping function is effective, efficient, and maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
Requirements
  • Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the principles of first impressions and the ability to ensure that guests have a positive experience from the moment they arrive.
  • Knowledge of food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and delivery, as well as a good understanding of nutrition and dietary requirements.
  • Strong understanding of the needs and interests of older people and the ability to develop and deliver a range of activities that are engaging, fun, and promote health and wellness.
  • Strong understanding of the principles of housekeeping, including cleaning, hygiene, and infection control.
  • Strong understanding of budget management and the ability to manage costs effectively whilst still delivering high-quality service.
