We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Community Learning Disabilities Team based at Alfred Bean Hospital in Driffield.

Job Description
  • Assess and develop interventions to enhance the quality of life for adults with learning disabilities, including psychosocial and physical health/equipment interventions.
  • Contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of Occupational Therapy Services within the Trust.
  • Provide supervision for junior staff and contribute to the development and maintenance of Occupational Therapy within the Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing assessments and treatments to adults with complex needs. You will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our service users and contribute to the development of Occupational Therapy services within the Trust.

Person Specification
  • HCPC registration and degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with relevant policy, legislation, and guidance relevant to the clinical and service area.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the clinical area at a specialist level of care.
