Job summary We are looking to appoint 2 Band 6 Specialist Practitioners to our newly configured Early Intervention CAMHS service that is currently in a period of redevelopment.
This is an exciting opportunity for Mental Health/Learning Disability Nurses, Social workers, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals with an equivalent registration to develop their skills within a transforming Children's Early Intervention Service.
The team are currently in the process of developing a new model of care to deliver to the secondary schools of the East Riding and it is an exciting opportunity to be part of this process.
Main duties of the job The successful candidate will have strong engagement skills, excellent communication skills and some experience of working collaboratively with other agencies and professions.
The successful candidate will demonstrate specialist clinical skills to deliver early intervention group and individual interventions including assessing and managing any risk and provide support/advice to young people, their families/carers and professionals involved in their care.
They will also lead/supervise and facilitate clinical discussions with junior staff on a daily basis.
The successful candidate will work per week.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Diploma or Degree in Professional qualification equivalent to RMN, Registered Social worker, Occupational Therapist or equivalent AHP Professional Registration with the HCPC/NMC or equivalent Experience Essential Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the clinical area at specialist level of care Evidence of development of specialist clinical skills relevant to the role Desirable Experience of working with Children & Young People Experience of working with individuals with emotional and mental health needs Knowledge Essential Knowledge and understanding of relevant policy, legislation, drivers and their application to clinical and service area Knowledge and understanding/application of relevant clinical practice/standards/audit within identified clinical area
