Supporting Older Adults in Residential Care Homes:
  Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Thornbury, Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional support and care to older adults living with dementia and physical disabilities.

About the Role:
  In this rewarding role, you will assist service users with their personal care needs, undertake key worker responsibilities, and contribute to risk assessments and best interest decisions. You will also maintain accurate records, including daily records and support plans, and assist with medication administration when required.

Requirements:
  To be successful in this role, you will need:
    • Training and experience working in a similar service area
    • A vocational qualification, such as NVQ 2 or equivalent, which is desirable
    • Knowledge of specialist equipment and an awareness of manual handling techniques
    • The ability to physically assist service users with personal care and other activities

Salary and Location:
  This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £16 (umbrella) / £12 (PAYE), based in Thornbury, Bristol.
