About Intensive Family Support Service

This role involves working directly with families in various settings to provide practical help and support.

Participate and lead group work sessions, attending meetings, hearings and appointments as required. Help establish routines and build life skills with families, assisting them in building parenting skills and confidence.

This position requires a sound knowledge of child development, enabling you to work with parents individually or in groups to develop their parenting abilities.

The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week, with an unsocial hours allowance incorporated into the salary for flexibility. A current driving licence is essential, though consideration may be given for alternative transport arrangements if necessary.

This post is temporary but we are actively seeking funding for extension. We require candidates who are passionate about supporting young people, families and communities, flexible and committed to collaborative working and relationship-based early intervention.

We want every child and young person to have love, support and opportunity to reach their potential. Our strong values - Respect, Integrity, Innovation and Challenging - influence our daily work. Please tell us about your values in your supporting statement.

We offer a supportive team, excellent training opportunities, generous annual leave, a pension scheme and employee benefits. When you work with us, we'll recognise your efforts with these rewards.
