Aberlour Child Care Trust is committed to supporting the most vulnerable members of our society, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Child & Family Worker (16 Hours).

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, plus an unsocial hours allowance to reflect the flexible nature of this role.

In this position, you will work closely with families to identify their unique needs and develop personalized plans to support them. You will also work collaboratively with partner agencies, schools, and nurseries to ensure that families receive the comprehensive support they require.

As a Child & Family Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the support needs of each family
  • Developing and implementing personalized support plans
  • Providing one-to-one support to children and their families
  • Leading group work sessions to promote social skills and emotional well-being

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Experience working with vulnerable families and children
  • Sound knowledge of child development and parenting skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
