Senior Practitioner Learning Disabilities Community Outreach

We are looking for a highly skilled Social Worker to join our community outreach support team in Dumfries and Galloway. As a Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for developing and delivering effective support plans that promote the well-being and independence of individuals with learning disabilities.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with service users, families, and external agencies.
- Encouraging service users to develop self-care and independent living skills
- Devising and reviewing support plans
- Maintaining active involvement within the local area
A driving licence is an essential requirement, but consideration will be given to candidates who have a disability preventing them from holding a licence if alternative transport arrangements can be made.
