About the Opportunity

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our Support & Family Safeguarding Team in Slough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking social work on allocated cases and developing outcome-based plans for children and families.

Job Description

This full-time position comes with a salary of up to £47,460 per annum and offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team to make a real difference in the lives of children and families. You will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking social work on allocated cases and developing outcome-based plans for children and families.
  • Fostering effective relationships with children, young people, and their families to enhance the impact of work and determine the level of service available.
  • Contribution to routine auditing activities to ensure high standards of social work practice and record keeping.
  • Completion of financial assessments and determination of contributions and levels of needs/service where appropriate.
  • Maintenance of effective working relationships with partner agencies, including voluntary, community, schools, police, health, and other statutory agencies.
  • Maintenance and review of accurate records of all work undertaken, including comprehensive use of the Integrated Children's System.
  • Provision of cover for other team members and undertaking of projects and other duties commensurate with the job level.
