About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Ramsay Health Care UK. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for delivering sourcing projects and targets in conjunction with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement category work plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Initiate and deliver category projects and targets, supporting the delivery of wider team targets and operational KPIs.
  • Build credibility with key stakeholders and ensure a robust procurement process for all contracted goods and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, including pricing and commercial terms, and develop SLAs and KPIs to support operational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all procurement policies and processes.
  • Support the development of global procurement initiatives and their local implementation.
  • Manage core/non-core suppliers to ensure performance and innovation are delivered during the contract term.

Requirements:

  • Strong credibility, business-facing influencing skills, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
  • Experience in a range of spend categories, with a focus on medical and surgical supplies.
  • Ability to work with senior business stakeholders to deliver complex sourcing projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
