Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Medical Category Procurement Specialist to join our team at Talent Drive | B Corp™. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for delivering sourcing projects and targets in conjunction with business stakeholders.

About the Role:

  • Category Management: Contribute to the development of the annual category work plan, identifying key areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive cost savings and process efficiency.
  • Project Delivery: Initiate and deliver category projects and targets, supporting the delivery of wider team targets and operational KPIs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring a visible presence and credibility in the business.
  • Procurement Process: Ensure a robust procurement process for all contracted goods and services, identifying and meeting all regulatory and quality standards.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate robust contracts, including pricing and commercial terms, and develop SLAs and KPIs to support operational requirements.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all procurement policies and processes, supporting the development of global procurement initiatives and their local implementation.
  • Supplier Management: Manage core and non-core suppliers to ensure performance and innovation are delivered during the contract term.

Requirements:

  • Procurement Experience: End-to-end procurement process experience, with a strong understanding of category management principles.
  • Medical and Surgical Category Experience: Preferred experience in medical and surgical categories, with a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to work with senior business stakeholders to successfully deliver complex sourcing projects in a multi-site organization.
