Director of People Operations

4Leisure Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Director of People Operations to join our team in Central London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the recruitment, onboarding, and development of studio staff, equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and motivation needed to excel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all roles have an updated Job Description and personal development plan in place via their line managers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the recruitment process and developing a talent pipeline
  • Designing and implementing effective onboarding programs
  • Developing and refining operational manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline efficiency and ensure consistency across all locations
  • Engaging in regular site visits to maintain and support operational standards
  • Collaborating with 3rd party suppliers including concessions, retail, and F&B operators

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' experience in an operations management role, preferably in the fitness or hospitality sectors.

They will possess exceptional organisational, communication, and strategic problem-solving abilities, adaptable to a fast-paced and evolving environment.

A self-motivator with a strong work ethic, the successful candidate will be ambitious with an entrepreneurial streak and a genuine passion for fostering a positive, health-focused community culture within the fitness industry.

They will be able to lead and work closely as a team to achieve the collective goal.
