Job Title: Director of People Operations

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of People Operations to lead our operations and people strategies. This role is essential for driving operational efficiency, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting our company's overall growth and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all fitness sites, ensuring high standards of service delivery, safety, and compliance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency, cost control, and service levels.
  • Lead operational projects such as the expansion of new sites, implementation of new technology systems, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage supplier relationships and contracts to ensure the best terms and conditions for services, equipment, and facilities.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent within the organisation.
  • Lead talent acquisition and onboarding, ensuring the recruitment of qualified fitness professionals and operational staff who fit our company culture.
  • Analyse the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) - the development and improvement of this and ensuring this lives and breathes throughout the business.
  • People engagement - including regular team surveys and benefits.
  • Drive training and development programs to enhance staff skills and promote career progression.
  • Develop workforce planning strategies, ensuring the right resources are in place to support business growth and customer demand.

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in operations and HR/people management, ideally within the fitness, leisure, or premium hospitality/retail sectors. Leadership experience with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams is essential. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making, are also required.
