Aspris Childrens Services Limited seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their multi-disciplinary team, working with young people who have autism, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour.
Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to convey sensitive information to the young people, their families, and other professionals. They will have experience working with up to 60 young people and be flexible on occasions to meet the needs of the individuals.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, requiring all applicants to undergo safeguarding screening including DBS checks and references from previous roles working with children or vulnerable adults.
Role Responsibilities- Perform assessments to establish the needs of our young people, monitor progress, conduct observations, provide sensory recommendations, and carry out direct therapeutic work to train staff.
- Work collaboratively as part of our multi-disciplinary team to improve the lives of young people in our school settings and residential provisions.
