We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in Chorley. As a Band 6 Locum Occupational Therapist, you will work with children and teenagers who require support with motor coordination difficulties, neurological conditions, challenging behaviour, or rheumatology conditions.

  • This is a flexible role, offering the opportunity to work from 2-5 days per week.
  • The hourly rate for this position is £26.
About the Job:

In this role, you will be working mainly with teenagers who have either motor coordination difficulties, neurological conditions, challenging behaviour or rheumatology conditions, all of which are in the community or in the base. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of paediatric occupational therapy principles.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with various needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid registration with the relevant health care profession's regulatory body.
