About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist/Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As an experienced clinician, you will contribute to bespoke assessment and intervention plans for individuals with complex needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with adults and/or children who have intellectual disabilities and/or autism, alongside other associated needs such as complex trauma, mental health concerns, and behaviours of concern. You will be part of a collaborative team that includes Speech and Language Therapists, Psychotherapists, and other professionals working together to meet the unique needs of our service users.

The successful candidate will have substantial post-qualification experience, with a focus on managing multi-disciplinary teams and delivering high-quality therapeutic services. They will also possess a deep understanding of sensory integration training and be able to work sensitively with people, resolving conflicts effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement individualised assessment and intervention plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of need and develop targeted interventions.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
  • Develop and deliver educational training sessions for colleagues on sensory integration techniques and strategies.
