Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Industrial Operations Director to lead our manufacturing site in Lancaster. This is a senior management role that requires a strong operational leadership background, gained in a progressive, industrial manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Industrial Operations Director, you will be responsible for setting and executing the strategic operational direction of the plant, including the implementation of a long-term productivity strategy. You will manage the Production, Engineering, Quality, HSE and Supply Chain teams, and drive new process development through continuous improvement and automation improvements. Additionally, you will champion quality excellence and right-first-time methodology, manage capital expenditures and budgetary/financial reporting, and lead the operational team to develop their skills, knowledge, and motivation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an industrial manufacturing background, operating at site leadership level. You should have proven management experience in leading a manufacturing operation, with a track record in strategic manufacturing, change management, policies, processes, and systems. Experience in lean manufacturing systems and processes such as six sigma is also essential. Furthermore, you should have a proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service and quality standards, with expertise in delivering benchmark OTIF performance gained within a SME manufacturing business.
