We are seeking an accomplished Operational Excellence Director to join our esteemed client, a pioneering organisation at the forefront of process engineering in the North of England. With a focus on innovation and technological advancements, this role offers a unique opportunity to drive operational excellence and lead a state-of-the-art facility.
About Our ClientOur client is a cutting-edge organisation that operates a technologically advanced facility in the Northwest / South Lakes area, revolutionising the industry through automation, digitalisation, and sustainable manufacturing practices.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee production processes to ensure highest levels of efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Drive adoption of advanced technologies, including automation and digital manufacturing systems, to optimise productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence.
- Build and develop high-performance leadership team, mentoring and coaching key personnel to support succession planning and talent development.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across various departments (Supply Chain, HR, and Finance) to ensure smooth operations and successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
This role requires an experienced leader with strong background in process engineering, manufacturing operations, and ability to leverage cutting-edge technology to drive operational excellence.
Requirements- Proven experience in senior leadership role within process engineering or manufacturing operations, ideally in high-tech or advanced manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of process engineering principles, with track record of driving technological innovation and implementing advanced manufacturing systems.
- Leadership and people management skills, with ability to inspire, develop, and retain talented workforce.
- Knowledge of operational excellence methodologies and their application in complex manufacturing environments.
- Experience with budget management, P&L responsibility, and driving financial performance.
- Ability to navigate complex, fast-paced environments with focus on continuous improvement and risk management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to engage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
