Job Description

Job Title: Behavioural Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at Home Improvement Services. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting students in managing their behavior and engaging in positive learning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to students in the exclusion room to help them manage their behavior and engage in positive learning activities.
  • Assist students transitioning from the classroom to the exclusion unit, providing support as needed and ensuring a smooth transition process.
  • Monitor the campus to ensure a safe and secure environment for all students and staff, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students in a behavioral support role, preferably within a school setting.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity, and a willingness to support students from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs.
