The main purpose of the Credit Quality Assurance (CQA) Manager role is to lead the delivery of Credit Quality Assurance (CQA) deliverables across the regional portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate technical Credit Assurance capability in order to maintain oversight by the CQA team.
  • Support the Head of Audit CIRB & CQA and CQA Senior Managers in developing and implementing the CQA strategy.
  • The CQA Manager will have strong subject matter expertise in credit risk assessment and analysis.
  • Support review and challenge for the assessment of the appropriateness and effectiveness of credit risk management.
  • Support the implementation of the strategic improvement plan for EMEA CQA.
  • Provide oversight and be a key point of contact for Credit Risk Assessments for assigned Auditable Entities (AE).
  • Influence and negotiate with counterparts across EIA and globally to execute audit assurance.
  • Act as role-models and support other EMEA-wide initiatives.

Planning:

  • Utilise their subject matter expertise to complete the risk assessments.
  • Improve risk coverage on a global basis.
  • Provide high quality impactful audit opinions.
  • Deliver continuous monitoring assignments for agreed entities.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience of delivering a portfolio of work in Credit Assurance.
  • Higher education or equivalent industry experience within Audit.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and minimum standards.
  • Strong acumen regarding auditing methods and industry practices.
  • Ability to project manage.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
