About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Support Worker to join our Radiotherapy Department at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality clinical, administrative, and clerical support to ensure the smooth delivery of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support to the Radiotherapy team, including patient observations, phlebotomy, and data input.
  • Assist with the management of workload, ensuring a high standard of patient care and efficient use of resources.
  • Collate and analyze patient data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure adequate information and support is available to patients.
  • Contribute to the efficient running of the service, adhering to The Christie NHS Foundation Trust policies and Health & Safety legislation.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make judgments on patient situations.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Knowledge of integrated clinical information systems and data management.
  • Completion of the Christie Care Certificate and ongoing professional development.
