About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Work Consultant to join our team in supporting foster carers and their families.

As a Social Work Consultant, you will provide high-quality supervision, support, and training to foster carers and their families. You will work closely with the fostering assessment teams to recruit foster carers across the county.

You will be working alongside experienced social workers and other professionals to deliver exceptional care and support to vulnerable children and young people.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development, behaviour management, and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular supervision and support to foster carers
  • Develop and deliver training programmes for foster carers and their families
  • Collaborate with fostering assessment teams to recruit new foster carers
  • Work closely with other professionals to deliver holistic care and support
