North East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join its multidisciplinary team in Ashford, Kent.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist with expertise in providing senior medical support and guidance to teams caring for children and young people with mental health needs. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with young people, their families, and other external providers to deliver high-quality care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide expert medical advice and leadership to multidisciplinary teams.
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, agencies, and organizations to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • To participate in on-call rota, providing 24/7 coverage and support to colleagues and patients.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
  • CCT or equivalent in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it.
  • Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it.

Estimated Salary: £105,504 - £139,882 per annum (pro-rata), depending on experience and qualifications.
