Co-Founder in Residence

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Co-Founder in Residence to join our team at Deep Science Ventures. As a key member of our climate-focused venture creation process, you will play a crucial role in developing and launching a new company that addresses the urgent need for engineered solutions to remove and store billions of tons of CO2 from our atmosphere by 2050.
About the RoleAs a Co-Founder in Residence, you will work closely with our team to co-found and spin out a new company that integrates CO2 capture from air with mineralisation processes. Your expertise in building and scaling high-growth enterprises, combined with your knowledge of the carbon market and construction material sector, will be invaluable in driving the success of this venture.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a business plan for the new company, leveraging your commercial and regulatory knowledge to drive growth and scalability.
- Collaborate with our team to identify and secure strategic partnerships, manufacturing, and procurement opportunities within the carbon market and construction material sector.
- Build and manage a high-performing team, developing sales, fundraising, and marketing strategies to drive the company's growth and success.
- Work closely with our team to develop and implement a CO2 mineralisation technology that reduces the cost of CO2 removal and provides durable, verifiable carbonate storage.
As a Co-Founder in Residence at Deep Science Ventures, you will have access to our optimised, purpose-built tools, resources, and processes to help create high-impact ventures from scratch. You will also have the opportunity to work with our network of Partners and Advisors, who bring expertise in the carbon market and construction material sector. Additionally, you will receive up to £250k in investment to incorporate the new venture and develop early proof-of-concept data, as well as a guaranteed income of £4,166 per month paid as a consultancy fee until the company is launched and the pre-seed investment is secured.
