We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Co-Founder in Residence to join our team at Deep Science Ventures. As a key member of our climate entrepreneurship program, you will play a crucial role in enabling CO2 capture processes and driving innovation in the field.

About the Role

As a Co-Founder in Residence, you will work closely with our team to co-found and spin-out a new company focused on CO2 capture processes. You will have the opportunity to leverage our proprietary tools, resources, and processes to create a high-impact venture from scratch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative CO2 capture processes and technologies
  • Collaborate with our team to build and scale a new company
  • Work closely with our network of partners and advisors to access know-how and resources
  • Secure pre-seed investment and develop early proof-of-concept data
  • Guaranteed income and majority equity stake in the new company
Requirements

We're looking for candidates with a strong background in mechanical or chemical engineering, a passion for thermodynamics and fluid dynamics, and experience in building and scaling new technologies. You should also have a broad knowledge of CDR technologies and processes, as well as industry-specific know-how and commercial knowledge.
