About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Co-Founder in Residence to join our team at Deep Science Ventures. As a key member of our climate team, you will play a crucial role in enabling CO2 capture processes and driving innovation in the field of carbon dioxide removal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for enabling CO2 capture processes
  • Collaborate with our team of experts to identify and address key challenges in the CDR industry
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and solutions for CO2 capture and removal
  • Work closely with our Founder in Residence to co-found and spin-out new companies
Requirements
  • PhD or equivalent industry R&D experience in mechanical or chemical engineering
  • Strong knowledge of state-of-the-art technologies and constraints in CO2 capture processes
  • Broad knowledge of CDR technologies and processes
  • Industry-specific know-how and commercial knowledge
  • Experience in building and scaling new technologies from concept to demonstration
  • Experience in raising funds from early stage investors/VC
  • Experience in building and scaling a high-growth enterprise
