We're seeking a visionary Co-Founder in Residence to join our team at Deep Science Ventures and drive innovation in CO2 capture processes. As a key member of our Climate sector, you'll work closely with our team to co-found and spin-out a new company, leveraging your expertise in mechanical or chemical engineering, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge CO2 capture processes and technologies
  • Collaborate with our team to build and scale a high-growth enterprise
  • Establish strategic partnerships and networks within the CDR industry
  • Raise funds from early-stage investors and venture capitalists
  • Lead the development of a broad portfolio of CDR technologies and processes

Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent industry R&D experience in mechanical or chemical engineering
  • Expertise in CO2 capture processes, cooling and heating systems, or polymer science
  • Broad knowledge of CDR technologies and processes
  • Industry-specific know-how and commercial knowledge
  • Experience in building and scaling new technologies from concept to demonstration
  • Experience in fundraising and leadership roles
