About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team at ABC Teachers. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced teachers and support the learning and development of young children in a nursery or reception class setting.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting with lesson planning and delivery, supporting children's learning and development, and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will also have the opportunity to lead activities and support the teacher in a range of settings, including large groups, intervention groups, and one-to-one support.

Requirements
  • Experience working with Nursery and EYFS students, with a reference available upon request
  • A Level 3 qualification in a childcare background
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with younger children
  • A DBS check that is registered on the update service or the ability to arrange one
  • Two professional references, with a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role
  • A welcoming and inclusive approach to the classroom, with the ability to provide feedback to the class teacher on children's learning
