The Education Network Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide individualized support to a student with hearing impairments. As a Teaching Assistant with British Sign Language expertise, you will play a vital role in ensuring the student's academic success and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize British Sign Language to communicate effectively with the student and support their academic needs.
- Act as a Teaching Assistant, providing academic support in lessons and collaborating with class teachers to ensure the student's needs are met.
- Deliver 1-2-1 intervention sessions as required, tailored to the student's specific needs.
- Liaise with the student's parents to provide regular feedback and updates on their progress.
Requirements:
- Level 1, 2, or 3 qualification in British Sign Language.
