Trade Counter Manager Opportunity

Sikla UK & Ireland is launching a new trade counter in Milton Keynes, offering its pipe fitting products to local MEP contractors. This presents a unique chance for a retail professional to lead and develop a new sales area within the company.

  • Oversee daily trade counter operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and inventory management.
  • Liaise with departments to ensure materials and processes are in place to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish necessary resources and investments to create effective proposals for management.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide internal feedback on replenishment needs.
  • Process orders, collect payments, and manage sales documentation and cash reconciliations.
  • Communicate internal replenishment needs and customer feedback to inform decision-making on new products.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote the trade counter and drive customer engagement.
  • Participate in sales promotions, events, and initiatives to attract new customers and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail or a related environment, preferably within the piping and fittings industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ERP software applications.
  • Clear understanding of commercial concept development and delivery.
  • Strong sales and organizational skills.
