Job Title: Financial Operations Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at JGA Recruitment. As a Financial Operations Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile Purchase & Sales Ledger databases to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile Purchase & Sales Ledger control accounts, supplier statements, and petty cash to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Provide coverage for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Credit Control functions.
  • Prepare and process weekly cheque runs to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Manage and control Company Credit Cards to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Process and manage expense reports to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
  • Maintain up-to-date financial files and records to ensure easy access and retrieval.

Requirements:

  • Strong mathematical skills and understanding of current accounting principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, to analyze and maintain financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve financial goals.
  • High levels of integrity and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance.
