Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for supporting inward stock deliveries, picking and packing products, and ensuring accuracy on every order.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support inward stock deliveries and ensure accurate receipt of goods
- Pick and pack products from our vast product line to complete customer orders
- Ensure accuracy on every order to guarantee a right-first-time delivery
- Support the wider branch team with tasks such as making deliveries to customers and providing excellent customer service on the trade counter
- Participate in delivery of orders, getting out and about with customers, and maintaining a consistent eye for detail
Requirements:
- Hold a valid, in-date full UK driving license
- Not have more than 3 points on license
- Experience within a multi-product warehouse environment (ideally)
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexible approach and ability to work under pressure
- Basic IT skills
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. You will be required to work a standard 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 08:00 and 17:00. You will also be required to have a full UK driving license and be willing to participate in delivery of orders.
