About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Engineer to join our team in Brackley. As a Business Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing existing accounts and bringing on new business, working on bespoke projects as part of a passionate team.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading UK company as a Business Development Engineer, responsible for driving growth and customer experience with clients both here in the UK & internationally. As part of this role, you will be required to travel to clients' sites around the UK & internationally, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Serve as the lead point of contact for key customer accounts
- Understand customers' technical and commercial requirements & work with customers and engineering to create concept designs for new products
- Work with engineering, to complete new CAD designs, prototype approvals, compliance and production build instructions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with new & existing accounts
- Prepare technical presentations& reports & meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects
- Negotiate prices and contract terms and conditions, to meet both customer and Company needs.
The ideal candidate will have a HND level qualification in Product Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar, with previous experience in a sales or Business development role within a technical / manufacturing environment.
