Job Title: Chef Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at WSH Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our customers, while maintaining high-quality standards and controlling food costs.
  • Employee Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of chefs, cooks, and front-of-house staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Inventory and Cost Control: Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering supplies, and implementing cost-saving measures to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Customer Relations: Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and ensuring that their expectations are consistently met.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, food safety protocols, and policies, creating a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Budget and Financial Management: Develop and manage kitchen budgets, reporting on financial performance, and implementing cost-saving measures to maintain profitability.
  • Menu Development and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with culinary trends, incorporating new ideas into menus, and ensuring that our offerings remain fresh and exciting.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent creative culinary skills, with the ability to develop and implement menus that meet customer needs.
  • Leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing and motivating staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relations skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and staff.
  • Proficiency in food cost management, with a focus on controlling costs and optimizing kitchen efficiency.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations, with a focus on creating a safe working environment.
  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
