Baxter is a leading global medical device manufacturer seeking an experienced Performance Optimization Director to drive business improvement across our sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Lean Manufacturing, data analysis, and process improvement, with a proven track record of delivering quantifiable results.

The Salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Implementing the Baxter Operating System (BOS) to drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
  • SUPPORTING THE DELIVERY OF TEAM-BASED KAIZEN IMPROVEMENTS IN LINE WITH TOP LOSS DATA AND SITE MANUFACTURING STRATEGY
  • Working cross-functionally to ensure all departments contribute to and deliver quantifiable performance improvement across the business
  • Ensuring mechanisms are in place to communicate and drive employee involvement within continuous improvement projects and continually review their effectiveness and explore new options which link to & support the site engagement plans
  • Evaluating KPI data and creating reports using Tableau analysis

Requirements:
  • A solid knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing principles
  • A minimum 5 years of business operations and/or plant manufacturing or engineering experience
  • Demonstrated process improvement success with a minimum of 3+ years of experience
  • Excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in English
