Liverpool City Council is seeking a skilled Contract and Performance Manager to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation of contract management systems, processes, and governance to drive improvement in practice.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of residents in Liverpool. As a key member of the council's procurement team, you will support the creation, delivery, and reporting of procurement and contract management key performance indicators.

You will have a deep understanding of contracts and supplier performance, with experience in managing contract and supplier relationships. Your expertise will help to ensure that the council's procurement activities are efficient, effective, and compliant with relevant regulations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments. You will be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Benefits:
  • A competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A 35-hour working week with hybrid working model, allowing for flexible working arrangements.
  • At least 31 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays, rising to 35 days after 5 years' service (pro-rata if part-time).
