N Consulting Limited is seeking a highly skilled Payment Systems Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in bridging business needs and technical solutions, driving innovation in payment processing, transaction systems, and card management platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and document detailed business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Analyze payment workflows and card transaction processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Define and document API specifications and assist in designing API-driven solutions for payment systems.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of APIs into existing Java-based systems.
  • Lead efforts to enhance credit, debit, and prepaid card platforms.
  • Stay updated on payment trends (e.g., tokenization, contactless payments, and real-time settlements).
  • Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other regulatory standards.
  • Provide input into the architecture of Java-based platforms for scalability and reliability.
  • Liaise with developers, testers, and architects to ensure the delivered solution aligns with business needs.
Requirements:

Domain Expertise:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Payments and Cards domain, including familiarity with card schemes (e.g., Visa, Mastercard) and payment processors.

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of Java-based platforms and microservices architecture.
  • Strong experience in API design, documentation, and integration.
  • Proficiency in SQL and system-level debugging.

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong ability to map payment workflows and document business rules.
  • Experience with data analysis tools for payment-related reporting.

Methodologies & Tools:

  • Familiarity with Agile-Scrum frameworks.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Visio.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

The estimated salary range for this position is £50,000 - £70,000 per annum.
