We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Northampton. This exciting role involves producing accurate management accounts through analyzing labour costs and key productivities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze labour hours between Operational departments and assist Operational Heads to explain key variances.
  • Raise online Purchase Orders and ad-hoc payment requests for site.
  • Weekly statement reconciliations.
  • Month end responsibilities, including knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Delivery of accurate and timely financial reports, working with the operations on a weekly and periodic basis to understand variances.
  • Work with the Assistant Finance Manager to embed meaningful management information to support the development of opportunities and growth.
  • Reporting and monitoring of key performance indicators to support service delivery and contractual commitments.
  • Producing ad-hoc reports, costings, and expenditure trend analysis as required.
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Assistant Finance Manager.
  • Demonstrate drive, energy, and a commitment to the continuous improvement of overall contract performance.
  • Be proactive, inquisitive, with a passion for challenging teams to drive performance.
  • Must be flexible and respond positively and accurately to internal and external customer requests.

This role would suit someone looking to start or continue their AAT qualification; an apprenticeship for AAT and beyond is offered with the role.
