Job Summary

EnerSys Delaware Inc. seeks a highly skilled Project Engineer to lead technical projects and serve as a primary technical representative to customers. As a key member of the engineering team, you will provide technical assessment, analysis, and documentation for projects, working closely with junior engineers and senior engineers to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical projects and provide technical assessment, analysis, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with junior engineers and senior engineers to ensure project success.
  • Develop and implement project designs, including analysis of electrical, thermal, and mechanical performance.
  • Work with CAD Manager to generate drawings and support in-build technical checks.
  • Verify project hardware from test data and correlate to predicted performance.
  • Produce project documentation, including analysis reports, battery user manuals, test plans, and test reports.
  • Contribute to project readiness review and non-conformance meetings.
  • Produce compliance statements to project and industry standards.
  • Communicate technical matters to customers and support proposal development.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience as an engineer in a customer-facing role.
  • Good IT skills for data analysis, modeling, results presentation, and reporting.
  • Experience with test and verification activities.
  • Experience in report writing.

Desirable Skills
  • Experience working with space industry primes, agencies, and end users.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ECSS standards.
