We are seeking a skilled Wastewater Project Specialist to join our Natural Resources team based in the Thames Valley region. This role involves working on wastewater treatment sites, requiring presence on site but with potential for remote working when possible.

Role Overview

This is a permanent, full-time position with flexible and part-time hours available if desired. As a strategic partner to Thames Water, Kier delivers design & build services for new and existing infrastructure assets across the Thames Water supply and treatment regions.

The successful candidate will work within our Wastewater Asset Assurance Programme (WAAP), collaborating with other Project Engineers to ensure MEICA focused projects meet Kier's and Thames Water's KPIs.

A key responsibility will be selecting Mechanical & Electrical supply chain and package scope, making technical and commercial judgements while considering client frameworks and opportunities for programme or commercial improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise work to ensure compliance with method statements and work instructions from the project manager.
  • Work with MEICA site supervisors and commissioning engineers to monitor site progress and verify works align with approved designs.
Requirements
  • BEng/ONC/HNC/BTEC qualified Mechanical or engineer.
  • CSCS card, SSSTS & Confined Spaces.
  • Experience in reviewing RAMS and understanding risks associated with process plant installations.
  • Full driving licence.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience. Additionally, Kier offers a comprehensive benefits package including pension scheme, life assurance, and paid holiday time.
