We are seeking an experienced MEICA Project Engineer to join our Natural Resources team, working on wastewater treatment sites in the Thames Valley region.

As a permanent, full-time position, you will be responsible for delivering design and build services for new and existing infrastructure assets. You will work alongside other Project Engineers to ensure that these MEICA focused projects are delivered in line with Kier's and Thames Water's KPIs.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with direct and supply chain workforce matters of Health, Safety and Wellbeing
  • Selecting Mechanical & Electrical supply chain and package scope based on technical and commercial judgement
  • Supervising work to ensure it is carried out in accordance with method statements and work instructions
  • Accountability for reviewing and managing MEICA design outputs from our design partners
  • Working with MEICA site supervisors and commissioning engineers to monitor site progress and check the works are in line with approved designs

This role is ideal for those with industry experience within water and commissioning Mechanical and/or Electrical plant in wastewater. A BEng/ ONC/ HNC/ BTEC qualified Mechanical or engineer is required, along with a CSCS card, SSSTS and Confined Spaces certification. Experience in reviewing RAMS and understanding the risks associated with process plant installations is also necessary.

Kier offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including pension scheme, life insurance and flexible working hours.
