Job DescriptionThis CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist position is based at the Redbridge Child Development Centre, Grovelands, Chadwell Heath, Essex. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that provides senior medical support and guidance to deliver exceptional care to children and young people with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care to children and young people with mental health needs.
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
- Work directly with young people and their families, liaising as necessary with external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals.
We are seeking a highly skilled professional who meets the following essential criteria:
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
- CCT or equivalent qualification.
- Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it.
- Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it.
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
