We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to children and young people with mental health difficulties.
Job SummaryThis role will involve coordinating medication review clinics, assessing and managing complex cases, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to our clients. You will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing expertise in specialist clinical areas.
Responsibilities- Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of children and young people with mental health difficulties, providing analysis and planning for assessment and treatment.
- Medication Review Clinics: Coordinate medication review clinics, ensuring smooth flow and efficient management of patient referrals.
- Assessment and Treatment: Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to promote positive outcomes.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatry colleagues, to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Qualifications: First-level nursing qualification (registration RMN or RSCN or HV) with related CAMHS experience. MSc level qualification or equivalent with evidence of post-registration professional development in child and adolescent mental health.
- Experience: Significant experience working as an independent non-medical prescriber with a CAMHS service, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including children, young people, families, and healthcare professionals.
We offer a competitive salary range of £61,927 - £68,676 per annum, inclusive of HCAS, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including generous pay, pensions, and leave.
