Job Overview

This role is part of our Managed Services team, which plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' systems. The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing scheduling and monitoring of automated batch jobs, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an IT Operations role, with a strong understanding of batch scheduling systems and service management tools. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits including flexible working arrangements, a hybrid working model, and a market-competitive pension scheme.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage automated batch jobs to ensure timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Configure and define customer batch jobs in line with customer and regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with the Service Management tool to ensure workload is monitored and actioned as required
  • Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed
